Meet the village of Amaryana.
It is located between Kastelli (where the new airport is being built) and the Dikti mountains.
In the center of the village, local residents have created a very beautiful and colorful water source, which is replenished with crystal clear water directly from the mountains. The water was so cold that the first sip immediately made my cheekbones cramp and my teeth hurt!
Even in the heat it’s always cool here, and today it was so bitterly cold that even in a warm motorcycle jacket it was uncomfortable.
Few tourists come here in the summer, as this village is not a tourist destination with archaeological sites or caves.
But all the same, it’s worth coming here, if only to drink pure mountain spring water!!
